Proceeds from the YESS Duck Derby directly benefit the hundreds of young children, adolescents, and families who turn to YESS every year. The agency, first established in 1973, has long been recognized for its success and expertise in keeping children safe and families together. As a one-of-a-kind agency in the community, YESS operates Iowa's largest emergency shelter and crisis nursery, while providing a comprehensive array of crisis intervention and counseling services for children, newborn through age 17, and their families.
