"KIDS"

The Kiwanis Incredible Duck Splash (acronym "KIDS") is produced by the Kiwanis Club of Glendale. The event is most often called a "Duck Race" by the more than 200 event producers around the world. From 5,000 to 100,000 or more yellow rubber ducks "race" to a finish line to earn great prizes for their "adoptive" owners, matched by a unique number on a tag on the bottom of each duck.

Our 90 second video will explain a lot! The beneficiaries of the charitable fundraising event are primarily children and youth in Glendale and neighboring cities throughout Los Angeles County. The participating non-profit organizations are listed on the Duck Buddies page of this website.

2017 will be the 13th Year for the KIDS! We are shakin' our tailfeathers over the fact that more than $1,000,000 has gone back into the community into programs benefitting our children and youth! Not bad for a flock of little rubber duckies! This year will be a Howlin' Halloween and will also feature The Kid's Fitness Challenge, in partnership with the Glendale Educational Foundation and America's Healthy Kids!
