On Saturday, September 27th up to 20,000 rubber ducks will be dumped off the I Street Bridge into the Sacramento River and race their way to the Tower Bridge.

The flock will float right through Old Sacramento and the first lucky ducks to reach the Tower Bridge will win fabulous grand prizes…prizes will be added right up to race day, so check back often for updates!

Proceeds from the Great Sacramento Duck Race will support local Special Olympics programs.  Our mission is to provide year round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults ages eight and older with developmental disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.  For more information on local Special Olympics programs, visit www.sonc.org.
