Grief in children does not always look the way people expect. It can show up as big emotions, quiet questions, anger, sadness, or confusion. What I have learned through this experience is that kids need safe places and caring adults to help them process all of it.

Taryn is leading this team because she wants other kids who experience loss to have access to the same kind of compassionate mental health support that has helped her.
