Our Purpose

June 5, 2023- we walked into our OB office for our 40 week appointment I was due the following day and planned on getting induced if I didn’t go in labor that day.

Connor and I were excited knowing we had one more day left until we get to meet our son. Making small talk while she puts the Doppler on my stomach. Silence. we weren’t worried though figured oh he’s hiding I felt him move all morning even in the waiting area. She then takes us into the ultrasound room. Silence. No one said anything until the dr looked up and said words we will never forget “unfortunately there’s no heartbeat.”

June 6, 2023 his actual due date. The day we’ve been looking forward to for months planning for preparing for. We did get to meet him that day and also said goodbye.

We decided to name him Nolan. It’s a name we love and being our last name it’s a name we and any future children we have will carry with us always. Nolan was born on June 6,2023 at 5:45pm weighing 7lbs 5oz and was 21inches long. Our lives were forever changed that day and we will never forget our son or that day and aim to keep his memory alive anyway we can. We will in honor of him in remembrance of him and in support of others family’s who are forced to face the same heartbreak.
