Adler Wells was born sleeping on April 24th, 2025 at 24w1d. After going in for an appointment due to concerns with reduced movement, we found out that he no longer had a heartbeat. After weeks of testing, it was concluded that during the pregnancy I had contracted CMV for the first time and the infection was passed through to Adler.

Immediately, we were surrounded by our family, friends, and community that helped carry us through the unimaginable we were facing. We became connected to KinderMourn and the amazing work they provide to our community for bereaved parents, grieving children, and teens. We share his story to help bring awareness and purpose to his life. Please consider donating to this amazing cause that has provided us with and continues to provide us with support!

KinderMourn provides hope for bereaved parents, grieving children, and teens by offering support and counseling programs, creating awareness of bereavement issues, and empowering the community to effectively assist those who have suffered an unthinkable loss.
