We're racing with purpose! Team Kensleigh's Korner is participating in KinderMourn's Float Hope Duck Race because this organization didn't just support our family during our darkest hour—they literally helped save my life.

Why This Matters to Us

When we lost our precious Kensleigh at 38 weeks in September of 2025, KinderMourn was there. They provided the grief support, counseling, and community that helped us learn how to keep breathing, keep functioning, and keep honoring our daughter's memory. In addition to providing grief services for us, they also have been a support for Kensleigh's older brothers Marcus & Kairo. The work they do for families in the Charlotte Metro area experiencing the devastating loss of a child is irreplaceable.

Kensleigh's Korner exists because of the foundation KinderMourn gave us. Now we're paying it forward, creating our own nonprofit to support other families walking this impossible journey. But KinderMourn remains essential—they're the boots-on-the-ground heroes providing critical grief services that families desperately need.

Adopt a Duck, Make Waves of Hope

Ducks are $5 each

When you adopt a duck in honor of Team Kensleigh's Korner, you're directly supporting KinderMourn's mission to provide FREE grief support services to families who've lost children. Adopt a duck in honor of Kensleigh or another angel that was born sleeping.

What Your Ducks Can Do:

A Six Quack (6) - $30

Provides a week's worth of snacks and drinks, offered to all children and teens who visit the KinderMourn home for counseling

The Lucky Dozen (13) - $65

Provides one counseling session for a newly bereaved parent grieving the loss of a child at any age or from any cause

The Whole Raft (20) - $100

Provides one counseling group session with professional KinderMourn counselors for teens grieving the loss of a loved one

Super Flock (50) - $250

Provides counseling with KinderMourn clinical staff to school communities, employers, churches, etc., after a tragic or unexpected death

Mega Flock (100) - $500

Helps fund five Helping the Hurt counselors’ hours to support students in local area schools, ensuring that no child has to grieve alone.
