We were obviously shocked and devastated by the loss of our sweet Lillian. Everyone we talked to asked us if we had heard of KinderMourn. Mike and I did not wait too long to contact them to help us through the grief process. Our counselors at KinderMourn were also a key part in our grief process. Coming to the KinderMourn house every week was such a comfort. We were surround by support and others that knew how we were feeling. Little did we know that we would make life long friends to walk through this journey with us. Our babies are "Playmates in Heaven." It gives us comfort to think how they are all playing up there together.
KinderMourn not only supports bereaved parents like us, but a the biggest part of their work is with children who are grieving the loss of a loved one. KinderMourn also sends counselors to schools to have sessions with students. We currently have a group meeting at my school.
