Hi, Mobilease friends! I have been involved with AFA, an amazing music education organization, for a number of years as a Board member and now serve as the Board President. As Houston's largest independent nonprofit provider of music education programs for kids, AFA impacts 2,500+ kids from 26 school districts and 175 schools from diverse backgrounds across the city each year. On Saturday, November 4 at 10am, AFA is hosting its fifth annual Bayou City Duck Race on Buffalo Bayou at Allen's Landing Park. AFA will launch 7,500 rubber ducks into the bayou that will race to the finish line. Don't worry...none of the ducks are left treading in the water. The top 10 ducks to finish will win a prize such as $2,500, Raising Cane's chicken for a year, performing arts tickets, restaurant gift cards, pet care package, and sports tickets. Ten Lucky Ducks plucked at random will receive $100 gift cards to Niko Niko's Greek & American Cafe.
