I choose this charity because I lost my 18 year old son in 2015 and that first Christmas alone, to be blunt, sucked. Long story short, I was connected with Neighbor to Family.org and have been on the advisory board since 2016. This is local charity near and dear to my heart for so many reasons. These kids come in the middle of the night with dirty diapers and nothing. They didn't ask to be here and it's not their fault their parents aren't making the best choices for them right now. This organization will help parent's get their kids back and prevent them from entering foster care if possible too. This also helps the foster families that sometimes take in up to 10 children to keep the siblings together. Adopt a duck, these are the children your children and grandchildren go to school with.
