Survivor's Healing Sanctuary (SHS) was founded in 2021 by Shinece Carr. After working with sexual assult survivors for over a decade, Shinece recognized that this population often has needs that extend beyond the support provided by existing community resources.
Our Core Services
We recognize the overwhelming demand for both immediate crisis response and long-term care for survivors of sexual violence and child sexual abuse. Far too many face gaps in services that leave them without the safety, stability, and healing they deserve. Bridging these gaps requires more than resources, it demands a relentless, passionate team committed to standing beside survivors every step of the way.
