Christ Team was founded by Rev. Reggie Killough, after returning from service in the Army as a
Chaplain’s Assistant during the Vietnam War. Reggie recognized the need to get outside the church and
reach out to those that are hurting, particularly the ones that were unreached. Reggie’s wife, Shirley,
works side by side in this outreach ministry, along with dedicated volunteers for various projects.
Through counseling, outreach centers, and phone ministry the outreach ministry is effective, but the most
effective means comes through a one-on-one encounter....meeting those in need where they are.
Christ Team reaches out to troubled kids, the homeless, drug addicts, broken homes, people living in their
cars, families hurting and hungry from loss of income, need of a job, car or other essentials.
Contacts are made each day through phone calls or referrals to Christ Team from friends, churches, and
other non-profits. Christ Team gives them love, acceptance, encouragement, and points direction through
God’s love to a new way of life!
