It's that time of year again... the 2025 Chicago Ducky Derby benefiting Special Olympics Illinois is right around the corner, and the West Chicago Police Department needs your help finding a home for our 250 ducks!! Whether you adopt one duck, a quack pack, or a flock of ducks....it only takes one duck to win!

The Chicago Ducky Derby is a signature fundraising event for Special Olympics Illinois. More than 75,000 rubber ducks each year ash down and race to the finish line. This year, we are hoping to reach 80,000 ducks adopted. The lucky winners of the race receive prizes, including a Chevy Trailblazer, a $2,500 cash prize, and Chicago Cubs W Club Tickets. Winners do not need to be present to win!! The proceeds go to benefit the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.
