My name is Maria Meyer. I am 22 years old and I live in Hinsdale, Illinois.
I just graduated from the District 86 Hinsdale Transition Center. I work at Kramer’s Grocery Store as a stock-girl. I also take classes at the College of DuPage. In the Fall of 2021, I will be attending Sheperd’s College in Wisconsin.
At home, I live with my mom and dad and German Sheperd named Ozzie. I visit my sister, Marissa, age23 and my brother, Joshua, age 25 in Lincoln Park. We always have fun together!
Beside work and school, I love to watch and play sports. I participate in swimming, golf, basketball and bocce ball. I’m starting to learn how to play pickle ball too.
Bike riding and winter downhill skiing are also favorites for me.
I also enjoy my theater classes through ABLE Theater, dancing classes through Down for Dance and Self-Advocate program through NADS.
