My name is Becky and I am a Special Olympics
Athlete, Global Messenger! I graduated
High School with Honors last year and am now in
Transition where I am learning job and life skills.
I still work for the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field
as a Greeter and ticket scanner.
I compete in Rhythmic Gymnastics and Swimming.
I have been very lucky and gone to State Competition
several times, including this June.
I am a Global Messenger and host Special Olympics Fundraisers by talking to groups, schools and anybody who will listen about how much Special Olympics helps all of us.
I have been on TV, billboards and radio to promote Special Olympics. I have been the Master of Ceremonies at many events, including the Polar Plunge, which I spontaneously participated in!
