Matt has been involved in Special Olympic sports for 17+ years (since he was 10 years old). He currently participates in unified volleyball, basketball, unified bocce, bowling, unified cornhole, golf and softball. He previously participated in track and field as a pentathlon athlete. Matt has earned gold medals in all of those sports. Matt has earned 167 Special Olympics medals over the years, including numerous state championships on the team and individual levels
