The mission of Hope of South Texas is to reduce the trauma of child abuse by assisting in the investigation, assessment, prosecution, and ongoing treatment. Our direct services programs include case coordination of investigations, forensic interviewing, victim advocacy and crisis intervention, specialized trauma counseling, and case review. We work as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to support the child with the care of DFPS (Child Protective Investigations), law enforcement, prosecutors, medical professionals, and counselors to provide services to children who are alleged victims of abuse or neglect. Hope of South Texas believes that every child is entitled to a life free of violence and full of possibilities.
