What an incredible day at the inaugural San Antonio Duck Derby at the Historic Pearl!
On behalf of the Rotary Club of San Antonio Foundation and our nonprofit partners — Kingdom for Kids, SNIPSA, and Snack Pak 4 Kids San Antonio — THANK YOU to everyone who adopted ducks, volunteered, sponsored, performed, donated, and came out to celebrate with us at the Pearl.
From the live music and family activities to the excitement along the San Antonio River during the Duck Derby race, the energy and support from this community were truly amazing. Because of your generosity, we are able to make a meaningful impact for organizations serving children, families, and pets throughout San Antonio.
A special thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, entertainment partners, vendors, and the Pearl team for helping bring this event to life. Events like this are only possible because of a community willing to show up, give back, and have fun doing it.
We are so grateful for everyone who helped make the first-ever San Antonio Duck Derby such a memorable success — and we’re already excited for what’s ahead.

A New San Antonio River Tradition
The San Antonio Duck Derby brings thousands of rubber ducks to Pearl for a fun day of family entertainment, great food, live music, and a race you have to see to believe. Every duck adoption supports three deserving charities, and the fastest, and luckiest, ducks win some exciting prizes.
This is your city, your river, and your chance to be part of something fun, while also making a difference in your community.
Where Your Support Goes
These three outstanding organizations work every day to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people and families across our community. Proceeds from duck adoptions, donations, sponsorships, and merchandise sales will be split evenly among these three nonprofits, helping them continue their important work.
We hope you will join us on May 9 for the inaugural San Antonio Duck Derby—not only for a fun, family-friendly event, but also to celebrate and support the incredible impact these organizations have in San Antonio.
