"KIDS"

The Kiwanis Incredible Duck Splash (acronym "KIDS") is produced by the Kiwanis Club of Glendale. 2023 will be the 18th Year for the KIDS! The event is most often called a "Duck Race" by the more than 200 event producers around the world. From 5,000 to 100,000 or more yellow rubber ducks "race" to a finish line to earn great prizes for their "adoptive" owners, matched by a unique number on a tag on the bottom of each duck. The Duck Splash will once again be held in-person! YAY! But may be changed to a virtual event pending COVID requirements at the date of the event. However, no matter how we run the race, live or virtual, all net proceeds will go back into the community to help those in need. We are shakin' our tailfeathers over the fact that more than $1,200,000 has gone back into the community into programs benefitting our children and youth! Not bad for a flock of little rubber duckies!

Our 90 second video will explain a lot! The beneficiaries of the charitable fundraising event are primarily children and youth in Glendale and neighboring cities throughout Los Angeles County. The participating non-profit organizations are listed on the Duck Buddies page of this website.
