By purchasing derby ducks from International Ballet, you're not only supporting our ballet academy and pre-professional company, but also our community outreach programs which bring exciting ballet experiences to children and adults who may not otherwise have the opportunity or exposure.
International Ballet (IB), a nonprofit dance organization in Greenville County, is known for exceptional performances of classical ballets such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and Giselle. We are an artist-in-residence at the Peace Center. In addition to presenting 3 mainstage performances per year, IB is deeply committed to several outreach programs. Project Pirouette is our summer and after-school program that brings free ballet training and performance opportunities to children in underserved communities. IB's weekly Accessibility Class serves adults with intellectual disabilities, and our Storytime Ballet is a free program at Greenville County Libraries that combines dance performances with reading. IB also offers an extensive scholarship program.
Our mission is to inspire joy and success through professional ballet training and performance opportunities. We strive to make the art of ballet accessible to all.
